Before you begin
- Your TV with a free HDMI port
- Your Wi-Fi name and password, or an Ethernet cable to your router
- 2 AAA batteries for the remote (not included)
Step 1: Connect the box
- Plug the HDMI cable into the vSeeBox and into a free HDMI port on your TV.
- V6 Pro with an older TV: you can use the AV port instead of HDMI.
- If your box came with a Wi-Fi antenna, screw it onto the back and point it straight up.
- Optional: for the most stable connection, run an Ethernet cable from the box to your router.
- Plug in the power adapter. The box turns on by itself.
- On your TV, switch the input to the HDMI port you used.
Step 2: Pair the remote
- Put the 2 AAA batteries in the remote.
- When the setup screen asks you to pair, follow the prompt. On most vSeeBox remotes, you hold OK and Volume Down together until the indicator light flashes.
- A message confirms that the remote is connected, and setup moves on automatically.
Step 3: Run the setup wizard
Use the arrow keys and OK to choose each option, then press Right to continue:
- Language
- Display: choose the highest resolution and refresh rate your TV supports. Higher refresh rates look smoother.
- Screen size: adjust it until the picture fits the edges of your TV.
- Time zone
Step 4: Get online
Using Ethernet: if the cable is plugged in, the box connects on its own. Press Right to finish.
Using Wi-Fi:
- Select Wi-Fi, pick your network, and enter the password.
- When it says Connected, you’re online. If it says Remembered instead, the password was wrong: select the network, choose Forget, and enter it again.
- Press Back, then Right to finish setup.
Step 5: Set up voice control (optional)
Press the microphone button on the remote to search by voice. Voice control works with Google Assistant, so signing in with your Google account gives you the most features.
